Frequently Asked Questions
How do I RSVP?
RSVP on our website, or directly in the google form at https://tinyurl.com/SLRSVP26. Please RSVP no later than March 15th, 2026 to support us in having the best wedding ever.
What is the dress code?
Our wedding is festive spring cocktail attire. We want folks to have fun with it and feel good in what they are wearing above all else. Bonus points if your outfit is inspired by a piece of fine art!
Are children allowed?
We have asked that children were included in our +1 request process, so all children invited should already be on our radar. If you have additional +1 requests, feel free to be in touch.
We do not plan to have full-fledged childcare at the wedding, and you should plan to be the primary caretaker for your children. We do hope to have a child support person, who can support with facilitating child-centered entertainment and support with minimizing disruptions during the ceremony.
What is there to do in the area?
A lot. Here are some things you might want to check out if you have the time:
Colleges
We famously have five colleges in the area: Smith (Lemy’s alma mater), Mount Holyoke (Schuyler’s alma mater), Amherst College (Schuyler’s Uncle Jim’s alma mater), UMass, and Hampshire. Smith, Holyoke, and Amherst have beautiful campuses that are worth look and a stroll. Those three schools have art museum that are open to the public. Lemy proposed to Schuyler at the Smith College Museum of Art.
Museums
The Emily Dickinson Museum is just off the Amherst College campus. If you’re into hungry caterpillars, you may want to stop by the Eric Carle Museum next to the Hampshire campus.
Books
The Montague Book mill in Montague is worth the 25- minute drive north from Northampton. In Northampton, you can visit the Broadside Bookshop. In Amherst, there’s Amherst Books.
Eating
Both Northampton and Amherst have lots of places to eat. Some of our favorites are Omi Omy for Bahn Mi and Herrell’s Ice Cream. We also recommend Bombay Royale in Northampton or MoMo Tibetan Food in Amherst. In between Northampton and Amherst, Esselon Café in Hadley is a great place for brunch.
Outdoors
Northampton has a rail trail network, including the Norwottuck Trial and the Manhan Trial, for walking or biking. Bikes can be rented at Northampton Bicycle. There are great views from the top of the actual Mt. Holyoke. You can drive or walk to the top. The Bridge of Flowers in Shelbourne, 35 minutes north of Northampton is beautiful. If you feel like an outdoor event in downtown Northampton, check out the pride parade during the day on May 2nd.
